Salthil & The Promonade
Salthill and the promenade is where you will find numerous sandy peaches overlooking the beautiful hills of County Clare. The promenade itself spans across 3km of coastline, it's the ideal location for a stroll, jog, or place to bring your pet. The famous Blackrock diving boards with it's signature bright yellow colour at the end of the promenade is a wonderful spot for those who brave the plunge into the oceans waters. The diving boards are one of Galway's most popular spots in the Summer. Salthill is home to many fabulous restaurants, ice cream parlors and cafes, not to mention the Micil Distillery, Galway Atlanaquaria, Seapoint Leisure Arcade Hall, and Leisure Land Swimming Pools.
Aran Island Ferries
Experience the open ocean, and the traditional Irish culture on the Aran Islands before viewing the spectacular Cliffs of Moher from sea level on a day tour with the Aran Island Ferries, Set off from the Galway City Docks, stopping firstly in Inis Mór were you can enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches, stone forts. Rinville Park
Rinville park is located just 5 minutes from the beautiful village of Oranmore, County Galway. Created around an ancient castle that is home to an old ruin stately home and estate which dates from the 16th century. There is a playground for children, picnic areas extensive networks of walks through woodlands, and amazing view points of Galway Bay, Galway City and the Burren of County Clare at Rinville and Saleen Point. Rinville is open year round, and very often home to a little café van. Admission and parking is free.
Galway Atlantaquarium
Galway Atlantaquaria is the National Aquarium of Ireland and one of the West of Ireland’s premier attractions. It’s home to 170 marine and freshwater species. Visitors will have the chance to hold starfish or spiny spider crab in the palm of their hands, explore an underwater world in a model submarine or help feed hundreds of hungry fish and sea creatures. Other highlights include the display tanks of seahorses, stingrays, sharks and an enormous skeleton of a Fin Whale. Book in advance through the website listed below.

Galway City & Shop Street
Galway is a harbour city along Ireland's West Coast/ The River Corrib runs through the city and meets the Atlantic Ocean. The city holds many historic places, including the city's hub that dates back to the 18th-century Eyre Square. Other famous places such as Lynches Castle can be found down Shop Street the main shopping street that has evolved through time.
