I love the Arches for my stay in Galway it is not my first stay nor my last the staff are fantastic Raddi is out on her own, her professionalism is second to none what an asset to have in The Arches hotel Thank you for a wonderful break !!

The basics here are done very well. Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms, pleasant and friendly staff, decent meals and choice. As 3 star hotels go, it it top class. Very convenient for access to Galway city where accomodation can be expensive this time of year.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Road noise is the price you pay for the convenient location if you have a front of house room. May just have been the room we had. On the plus side we had an excellent view of the Arches. A buzzer in reception would be useful when there may not be a need for an all day receptionist.

Welcoming, helpful staff esp Radi & the staff in the dining area..Our request for a extra pillow that was flatter for neck comfort for my husband was delivered straight away..Very helpful indeed. We will return.PG.

Pillows too high, but that is a personal choice for us & a good night's sleep. Thank you

The staff were so friendly, the food was excellent, we will definitely be back.

Not a massive hotel so easy to get in and out of. Parking close to front door was great. It is clean, Staff are very nice. Food is very good.

Radiator's are on in the hallways - why ? Not much ventilation in room. Leaving window open doesn't help much as there's no flow through of air. Leaving door open would help air flow but the hot air form the hallway is brought into the room. The traffic noise is pretty loud from the street, however the window cant be closed to keep noise out as it's the fresh air source.

Stay was good. Great TV on Ssat evening to watch hurling. Rom comfortable. Would have prefered twin over double but ok.

Small leak in roof near roof window... allows some drops of water in druing heavy rain on Sunday morning (room 201)

Really welcoming hotel in the centre of Clare Galway. The staff were really friendly and efficient. We had bar food in the evening and breakfast. Both fresh and delicious! The Hotel room was spotless.
