Fishing in Claregalway
The Clare River is literally a stones throw from the Arches Hotel Claregalway making it the perfect base while you set off in pursuit of that elusive catch.
The "Clare" as it's known locally is a well known fishing hot spot in Co Galway. Many the screwed angler makes the annual pilgrimage with Salmon and trout fishing in abundance. Pike fishing is also popular with some heavy specimens caught each year.
Great fishing is to be had in Claregalway throughout the season which runs from March 1st until September 30th, with particularly good fishing between April and June and again in September.
