So it’s Friday evening, and you’ve had a long week. You’ve been up early every morning, worked hard each day. Maybe everything hasn’t gone to plan, people have let you down, the boss or the client (or both) is on your case. Traffic on the way home is an absolute b!%@&!! As you change from first gear to second, touch the brake, push in the clutch, let it up again, your mind starts to wander. You’re hungry, had to grab lunch on the fly, a soggy sandwich washed down by a cup of weak, watery coffee.
‘What’s in the fridge at home?’ you wonder.
‘S**t, there’s nothing!’ you realise. Hadn’t time to do any shopping.
Your mind wanders again. ‘What would be nice now, what would really hit the spot?’
